Charlotte Hand-Tied is a collar-length wavy style - longer at the front at 10" with a shorter graduated nape at 4.5" that sits cleanly without bulking at the collar. The soft waves fall naturally throughout the style and hold their shape between washes without any effort.

Please note Charlotte Hand-Tied is not heat-friendly unless otherwise stated on the Shopify page. Styling tools such as straighteners, curling irons and blow dryers should not be used on a standard synthetic wig as they will permanently damage the fibre. The style returns to its original wave naturally after washing and drying on a wig stand.

Charlotte Hand-Tied uses the Envy Atelier Swiss Cap - the most premium cap construction in the Envy range. Every single strand of hair across the entire cap is individually hand-tied to a fine Swiss lace base. This means there are no wefted strips anywhere in the cap - the result is a noticeably lighter, more breathable construction that allows the hair to move in any direction without any fixed directional pull.
The monofilament top covers the entire crown area and allows the parting to be placed and moved freely throughout the day - there is no fixed parting to maintain. The ear-to-ear Swiss lace front extends from temple to temple and sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge. Swiss lace is finer and more flexible than the standard lace used in most wig lace fronts - it lies closer to the skin and creates a more seamless hairline in everyday wear, which is particularly important for those with total hair loss where a completely natural-looking front is the priority.
Velvet-lined ear tabs, ultra-thin nape adjusters and stretch material throughout the cap base provide a comfortable, secure fit within the average cap range of 54cm - 57cm.

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
circumference. This can be determined by measuring your head for a wig

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
appearance of human hair. Although synthetic wigs are man-made, advanced
technology means they're created almost parallel to the quality of real
hair.
