Unmatched 12" is a mid-length topper designed for those with shoulder-length or longer natural hair who need coverage at the crown and top without the extra length of the 18" version. The uniform 12.25" measurement across front, crown, sides and back means the hair falls evenly all over - no layering, no graduation - which makes it straightforward to blend with your own hair at the point where it meets the topper's perimeter.
The light density is deliberate - not overly full or thick, so it sits naturally over thinning hair rather than sitting obviously on top of it. The hand-tied monofilament base allows the parting to be placed anywhere and moved freely, and the Tru2Life heat-friendly fibre means you can use a flat iron, curling wand or diffuser to match the topper to your own hair texture exactly. The polyurethane rim around the base perimeter allows adhesive use alongside the 5 pressure-sensitive clips - a practical option for those who prefer a bonded attachment or have very little hair to grip.
Also available as Unmatched 18" - the longer version for those with longer natural hair.

Unmatched 12" is made from Tru2Life heat friendly synthetic fibre - Raquel Welch's proprietary heat friendly fibre. Keep tools set to a low heat, no higher than 180°C (350°F), and work through the hair in small sections.
Once the hair cools it holds its new shape. Between wears the fibre returns to its original style on its own. It won't take colour or permanent treatments, but for everyday blending versatility it performs exceptionally well alongside both natural and coloured hair.
Base Construction
Unmatched 12" uses a hand-tied monofilament base with a polyurethane rim. The base measures 6.5" x 7" providing generous coverage across the crown and top of the head. Every hair within the monofilament base is individually hand-knotted to a sheer mesh, creating a scalp-like appearance that allows the parting to be worn in any position and changed throughout the day.

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
