About Sloane
Sloane has a soft, layered shape inspired by the classic layered styles of the 1990s. The longer front pieces gently frame the face, while the mid-length cut gives the style natural movement without feeling too heavy. It can be worn smooth and polished or restyled using suitable heat-styling tools.
Hair Type
The heat-friendly synthetic fibre can be temporarily reshaped with heat, giving you more flexibility than a standard synthetic wig. Always use suitable heat-styling tools and keep within the manufacturer's recommended temperature.
Top Tip
Heat-Friendly synthetic fibre can tangle and frizz with wear. It is important that the frizz is corrected early to avoid permanent damage to the fibre. Use your flat iron to smooth any frizz before washing. Maintenance can help extend the longevity of both the fibre and base materials. Regular detangling is important for overall product longevity, as tangles left untreated may require repeated pulling, which can create tension and gradually stretch the base material and lace over time.
Wig Cap Construction
Sloane features Jon Renau's HighDefLace Front, extending from temple to temple to create a soft and natural-looking hairline. The single monofilament top allows the hair to be parted in different directions and gives the appearance of natural hair growth from the scalp. The back of the cap is fully hand-tied, helping to keep the construction lightweight and comfortable.
The lace is particularly delicate, so it should be handled carefully when putting the wig on, removing it and during routine maintenance.

Due to the delicate nature of the HighDefLace front, we recommend taking extra care when handling and styling Sloane. For further guidance, please see Jon Renau's care instructions included with each purchase.
- Before washing, gently remove any tangles using your Jon Renau Wide Tooth Comb only
- Be sure to avoid pulling or tugging on the lace while detangling
- Wet hair completely using cool running water
- Gently lather hair with a small amount of Jon Renau Fibre Love Shampoo, making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Use gentle massaging motions - do no scrub the hair
- Support the lace with your hand when cleansing to prevent stress
- Avoid stretching, pulling or tugging on the lace
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until the water runs clear
- Spray with Jon Renau Fibre Love Conditioning Spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
circumference. This can be determined by measuring your head for a wig

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
