Why You'll Love It
Instant Muse is a shoulder-length beach wave style with a natural, undone quality that is genuinely difficult to achieve in a wig - the waves sit loosely and move freely rather than holding a rigid set shape. The hair from the crown measures 28cm while the shorter nape at 15cm keeps the back clean and prevents the hair from bunching at the collar. At the sides the hair reaches 22cm - enough to tuck behind the ear or leave loose depending on your mood.
The monofilament parting creates a realistic scalp-like appearance along the parting line, and the lace front sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge for a natural hairline across the full front of the style.
Because the fibre is heat-friendly you can smooth the waves for a sleeker finish, tighten them with a curling wand or add volume with a diffuser - all at a low heat setting. Ready to wear straight from the box with no restyling.

Once the hair cools it holds its new shape. Between washes the fibre returns to its original beach wave style on its own - no restyling needed. It won't take colour or permanent treatments, but for everyday versatility it sits comfortably between standard synthetic and human hair.
Wig Cap Construction
Instant Muse uses a lightweight wefted cap with a monofilament parting and lace front. The wefted sides and back allow air to circulate freely against the scalp throughout the day, keeping the cap cool and breathable.
The monofilament parting means the hair along the parting line is individually hand-knotted to a sheer mesh base, creating a scalp-like appearance at the part. This is a monofilament parting and the parting is fixed in its natural position rather than being moveable across the entire crown.
The lace front reaches from ear tab to ear tab and sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge. Velvet-lined ear tabs, ultra-thin nape adjusters and stretch material throughout the cap base provide a comfortable, secure fit.

- Detangle gently using a wide-tooth comb or metal-pinned wig brush, working from ends upward
- Wash with synthetic wig shampoo and conditioner only
- Use heat tools on a low setting - no higher than 130°C - if restyling
- Store on a wig stand to maintain the beach wave shape and prevent tangling

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
