Description
Zara Lite is a long layered style from Jon Renau's SmartLace Lite Collection. The layers are cut to fall naturally around the face and shoulders at Crown 16.5" with a fringe at 11.5" - long enough to pin back but full enough to wear down every day.
The light density means the hair sits closer to how naturally thinning hair looks, without the volume that can make a wig appear obvious. It is a particularly good choice for those who find standard density wigs too heavy or thick-looking, and for those wearing a wig for the first time.
Hair Type
Zara Lite is made from synthetic fibre. Synthetic wigs hold their style in all weather without the upkeep that human hair requires - no blow drying, no restyling after washing. The fibre maintains its colour and shape wash after wash.
Please note Zara Lite is not heat-friendly. Styling tools such as straighteners, curling irons and blow dryers should not be used on this wig as they will permanently damage the fibre.
Wig Cap Construction
The SmartLace Lite cap is a lighter version of Jon Renau's standard SmartLace construction. The entire cap is 100% hand-tied, meaning every strand of hair is individually knotted to the base - this allows the hair to move in any direction and creates a soft, skin-like appearance across the whole top of the wig. The monofilament top means you can part the hair anywhere without the part looking artificial.
The ear-to-ear lace front creates a hairline that sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge. It is ready to wear without tape or adhesive, though both can be used if preferred.
The 'Lite' cap uses finer, lighter materials throughout compared to a standard hand-tied cap. The result is noticeably less weight against the scalp - an important consideration for those with sensitive skin, those undergoing chemotherapy, or those experiencing alopecia. A non-slip silicone nape strip helps keep the wig in place without grips or tape.

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
circumference. This can be determined by measuring your head for a wig

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
appearance of human hair. Although synthetic wigs are man-made, advanced
technology means they're created almost parallel to the quality of real
hair.
