Whisper is a long layered lob at Overall 17" - the longest style in the Henry Margu featherlight range. Despite the length, at just 4.35oz it is remarkably light for a full-length wig, which is a meaningful practical difference for anyone wearing it throughout a full day.
The layers are cut to fall naturally from crown to collarbone with the longest layers just clearing the shoulder - long enough to pull into a low clip or ponytail when you want to. Because the fibre is heat-friendly up to 180°C you can wear it straight from the box or add waves, curls or smooth sections with a low-heat tool to suit your mood. The featherlight capless construction maximises airflow against the scalp throughout the day.

Heat friendly synthetic fibre can be styled using heated tools - flat irons, curling wands and diffusers - giving you the flexibility to change your look without the upkeep of human hair. Keep tools set to a low heat, no higher than 180°C (350°F), and work through the hair in small sections.
Once the hair cools it holds its new shape, so a curl or wave will last throughout the day. Between washes the fibre returns to its original style on its own - no restyling needed. It won't take colour or permanent treatments, but for everyday versatility it sits comfortably between standard synthetic and human hair.
Wig Cap Construction
Whisper uses Henry Margu's featherlight 100% cap-less construction - made from ultra-thin wefts with open space between each strip to allow maximum airflow against the scalp. For a long wig at Overall 17", this is an unusually light and breathable construction. Most long wigs are heavier as the additional hair length adds weight - the featherlight cap design keeps Whisper at just 4.35oz which is notable for this length.
There is no monofilament feature and no lace front - the parting is fixed and the hairline is finished with a velvet edge. The straight layered cut sits neatly without a fixed parting being a practical concern. Adjustable straps at the nape allow for a secure, custom-like fit within the average cap range.

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
