Fiona Lite wig by Jon Renau is a long, layered style with soft, flowing waves. It's light and airy, so it looks natural without feeling heavy. It's made from heat-friendly synthetic fibre and built on Jon Renau's SmartLace Lite cap, so it's comfortable enough for all-day wear.

  • Hair Type: Heat Friendly Synthetic Fibre
  • Cap Construction: Hand-tied SmartLace Lite - Monofilament Top - Extended Lace Front
  • Colour Shown: 101/88/27S8 (Catalina Blonde) - 5/8S4 (Hazelnut Mousse) - 8RH14 (Mousse Cake)
  • Cap Size: Average (54cm to 57cm)
  • Weight: 5.4 oz (154 g)
  • Hair Length:
    • From fringe: 7" (17.8 cm)
    • From crown: 18.5" - 19" (47 cm - 48.3 cm)
    • From sides: 15.5" - 16" (39.4 cm - 40.6 cm)
    • From nape: 13.25" - 13.5" (33.7 cm - 34.3 cm)

Why You'll Love It

The waves fall in soft layers that move nicely as you walk. Because the density is light, the hair has a relaxed, natural finish rather than a full, heavy look.

The extended SmartLace front runs from ear to ear, giving a realistic hairline. You can wear the hair loose around your face, or sweep it back for an off-the-face look. The waves are easy to vary, so you can keep them as they are or try something different.

The hand-tied construction lets the hair move naturally, and the single monofilament top gives the look of hair growing from your scalp at the crown. At 5.4 oz (154 g), it's light enough to wear every day. Silicone ear tabs and a silicone nape help it stay put.

Heat-Friendly Fibre

Heat-friendly fibre lets you change the look by smoothing or curling the hair with the right tools. You still get the easy care of synthetic hair, which keeps its style between washes.

Please note - Too much heat can damage the fibre. If you'd rather not style it at all, the soft waves look lovely as they are.

Wig Cap Construction

Fiona Lite uses Jon Renau's SmartLace Lite cap. It has an extended lace front that runs from ear tab to ear tab, a single monofilament top and a fully hand-tied construction. The cap is light, so it feels comfortable against the head. See images for details.

The cap is made for an average head circumference of 54cm to 57cm. If you're not sure of your size, use our measuring guide or get in touch before you order.

Your questions

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Read our step-by-step guide on how to put on a wig and watch the video demonstration.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

For more detailed explanations, read our guides on how to wash your wigs:

• How to wash a human hair wig
• How to wash a synthetic wig

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.

Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
circumference. This can be determined by measuring your head for a wig
correctly using a flexible measuring tape. Read our page on how to measure your head for a wig and watch our video demonstration.

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
appearance of human hair. Although synthetic wigs are man-made, advanced
technology means they're created almost parallel to the quality of real
hair.

Human hair wigs are crafted from harvested human hair
which means the wigs feel, look and move just like a natural head of
hair.
