Belinda is made from heat friendly synthetic fibre. This means you can use heated styling tools - flat irons, curling wands and diffusers - to restyle or adjust the texture. Keep tools set to a low heat, no higher than 130°C, and work through the hair in small sections.
Once the hair cools it holds its new shape. Between washes the fibre returns to its original layered style on its own - no restyling needed. It won't take colour or permanent treatments, but for everyday styling versatility it sits comfortably between standard synthetic and human hair.

Belinda uses the Envy Atelier Swiss Cap - a significant step up from a standard hand-tied cap. The entire cap from front to nape is 100% hand-tied to a Swiss lace base, meaning every strand of hair is individually knotted rather than machine-stitched onto wefted strips. This creates a lightweight, breathable feel against the scalp and allows the hair to move in any direction - forward, back, parted left or right - without any fixed directional pull.
The monofilament top covers the entire crown area, creating a scalp-like appearance that allows the parting to be moved freely throughout the day. The ear-to-ear Swiss lace front extends from ear tab to ear tab and sits flat against the forehead with no visible edge - Swiss lace is finer and more flexible than standard lace, which makes the hairline even more seamless in everyday wear. This is particularly beneficial for those with total hair loss where a completely natural-looking hairline is the priority.

When first receiving your wig in the post, it's normal to feel a little
overwhelmed. Wearing a wig maybe something completely new to you,
however, there's no need to worry. At Joseph’s Wigs, we completely
understand your confusion and love to help wig wearers feel at ease with
the whole process, no matter what stage of the journey you're at.

Washing a wig plays a key role in wig maintenance
to ensure long-lasting quality and to maintain its initial shine. Using
a wig washing kit, shampoo and condition the wig thoroughly, rinse the
wig with clean water after each step. Then, once cleaned, place the wig
onto a styling head (which you can anchor down using a suction wig clamp
holder) and begin brushing the wig gently from the ends of the hair to
the crown. Finally, leave the wig to dry and it’ll begin to adopt its
natural style again.

The price of a wig can range anywhere between £65.00 - £3,000.00,
depending on whether you choose to buy a human hair wig or synthetic
wig. If you're looking for a longer-lasting wig solution, ideal for
medical reasons, then we would suggest investing in a human hair wig for
the most natural and comfortable look possible. However, if you're
looking for a temporary wig to try new styles, for example, then opt for
a synthetic wig that's lower in cost.
Choosing the right wig size for you will depend on your head
circumference. This can be determined by measuring your head for a wig

Synthetic wigs are made with fibre strands to simulate the natural
appearance of human hair. Although synthetic wigs are man-made, advanced
technology means they're created almost parallel to the quality of real
hair.
